Rental Services – Terms & Conditions

By using the services provided by Butts Productions Car Rental Services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

You must be at least 21 years of age to rent a car from Butts Productions Car Rental Services.
A valid driver’s license and a major credit card are required for booking and payment.
All rentals are subject to availability. Prices and terms may change without notice.
You are responsible for the vehicle during the rental period. Any damage, loss, or theft of the car is your responsibility unless you have purchased additional insurance.

In the event that you lock your keys in the car, a $100 fee will apply for pop-a-lock service.

The vehicle must only be used for lawful purposes and within the agreed geographical areas.
You may not sublease, rent, or allow any other person to drive the vehicle without prior approval.
Smoking is prohibited in all rental vehicles.
Pets: If pets are transported in the vehicle, a cleaning fee of $200 will be charged to cover the cost of cleaning and sanitizing the vehicle after use.

Jump-starting vehicles is strictly prohibited for any reason.
If a vehicle’s battery dies or becomes inoperable, the renter must contact Butts Productions Headquarters or AAA roadside assistance services for support.
Personal performance measures, including but not limited to jump-starting the vehicle, attempting repairs, or using third-party assistance without authorization, are not permitted.
This policy is enforced to ensure safety, security, and vehicle integrity. Any violation may result in additional fees and/or termination of the rental agreement.

Cancellation & Modification: You may modify or cancel your reservation up to 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time without penalty.
No Partial Refunds: If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled pick-up time, no partial refunds will be issued. However, as a gesture of goodwill, a 10% discount will be provided on your next rental booking.
Grace Period: There is a 15-minute grace period after the scheduled pick-up time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your reservation will be canceled, and no refund will be issued, even if you communicate your tardiness. No exceptions will be made.
No Refund: Failure to pick up the vehicle or cancel after the scheduled pick-up time will result in no refund.

Butts Productions Car Rental Services is not liable for any damages, losses, or accidents that occur while using the vehicle. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the rental vehicle.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina.
